Icon + Tier Mascot Contest!
The Creature Exchange staff are pleased to announce that this month we will be hosting a contest! The contest will revolve around designing a new icon for the group, as well as designing the tier mascots. What are the mascots, you ask? We've found that our way of sorting people (advanced, intermediate, beginner and novice) simply doesn't give off the right idea. People are often disheartened to hear themselves be considered a beginner when it doesn't really have the meaning that you think it does! Unfortunately, everyone reads words differently, so we're changing our tier names to things that won't make people feel as if they're being unfairly treated.
Without further ado, the new tier names (in no order) are:
Emerald Faerie
Ruby Mermaid
Opal Dragon
Diamond Unicorn
Alexandrite Phoenix
Rules:
You may create 3 entries for each category maximum! This means you could contribute a total of 18 entries, though you are in no means obligated to do more than 1 entry
If entering for a tier mascot, you must give a brief description of any powers you think the mascot would have/other characteristics. We may not keep your ideas, but we like to hear them! You may not harass other members, or insult their designs You may not harass the winners, any instances of cyber-bullying will result in a permanent ban from the group If your design for the tier mascot isn't chosen, you may turn the character into a personal one, if you so choose You may not use the icon you made for the CE elsewhere, even if you don't win You may NOT upload your design/icon to your sta.sh or anywhere other than your gallery. Any entries that are not featured in a gallery, or are deleted before the end of the contest, will not be considered Absolutely NO blood, gore, nudity, or any other sensitive material - we want these mascots to be comfortable for everyone to view!How To Enter:

If you would like to change your prompt for any reason such as:
- Not interested in the prompt or you'll be dragging your feet to complete it
- The prompt's subject/s are too difficult
- The subject of the prompt makes you uncomfortable for any reason (gore/etc)

The exchange runs on the CEST timezone! It will close on May 5th after 8pm.
Drop-outs.
If you ever find yourself unable to complete your design, please send a note to the group as soon as possible to receive a 1-month ban. If you do not inform us of your drop-out, it becomes a 3-month ban. If your partner drops out of the exchange, it is completely up to you to decide whether you will keep/gift/sell the design you created.
